I don’t have daily access to internet but would like to log my commutes. Can you help?
Yes – please call the Gohio Commute number at 1.888.742.RIDE (7499), and we will help you log your commute.
How do I log my commute?
First, register for the Commuter Challenge on the Gohio Commute platform. After your account is created, you will have access to the Gohio Commute dashboard. On this dashboard, you should see a “log your trips” section complete with a calendar. Select the dates on the calendar, and then either (A) select one of your saved Favorite Trips, or (B) specify your departure/return times, distance traveled, and mode of travel. Click “Log Trips,” and you’re done! The following video details how to log your commute:
Do I have to log my trips on the gohiocommute.com website, or can I log them on an app?
The RideAmigos Commute Tracker app allows you to log your trips without logging into the gohocommute.com website. Commute Tracker is free at the app store. The following video details how to access the Commute Tracker app:
Written set-up instructions
(Specific street addresses are required for both home and work in order for Commute Tracker to detect trips. General addresses such as “city, state” do not allow Commute Tracker to recognize when you’ve left your home or reached your workplace and therefore the app will not identify or log trips.)
How do I create or join a team for the Commuter Challenge?
Unfortunately the challenge this year is limited to an individual contest. We will consider bringing back teams in 2019.
